How to update the main genre or sub genre of the release?

For release submitted in DDEX format:

Please update the <Main Genre> or <Sub Genre> of your album or song in your DDEX system and send us the updated XML file. Once the system has processed the update, the genre information for the album or song will be updated accordingly.

For release submitted through the Ingest Platform:

Please log in to the Ingest Platform, update the <Main Genre> or <Sub Genre> of the album, and click "PUBLISH" to submit the updated XML file to us.
