Account Types & Permissions

KKBOX for Artists offers two types of accounts: Label and Artist.
Each account type provides access to different sets of data

Label Account (For Record Labels / Distributors)

Label accounts are intended for:
Record labels (Labels) or music distributors (Distributors) that have an active partnership with KKBOX and release content on the platform.

Typical roles include:
A&R, Marketing, Digital Distribution, Operations, Copyright/Rights, and other related functions.

Accessible data includes:

• Dashboards of artists under the label
• Performance insights and key metrics
• Album and track lists attributed to the label’s catalog

Artist Account

Artist accounts are intended for:

• The artist
• Authorized managers or members of the artist’s team

Accessible data includes:

• The artist’s dashboard
• Playback performance
• Album and track lists

Roles & Permissions

KKBOX for Artists offers two permission levels for all account types:

Admin

• View all available analytics
• View team members
• Add or remove team members
• Adjust member permissions

Viewer

• View analytics
• View team members
• View only; cannot make changes to team settings
